Nikki specialises in complex dog behaviour struggles and has always been extremely passionate about animals, graduating from university with a degree in Zoology. It has been her dream to work with dogs and help others. Nikki has been training with dogs for over 10 years and is coached by UK Agility Winner Lauren Langman and Vet Behaviourist Tom Mitchell, the founders of Absolute Dogs. Nikki is a qualified Pro Dog Trainer, holds an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour and is a Founding Member of the Absolute Dogs Training Academy and is a guest instructor at Devon Dogs, the largest dog training centre in the UK.
Elaine supports On The Ball on a daily basis looking after all of the enquiries that come in and has become an invaluable member of the team. Elaine has become increasingly more involved as the business has grown over the years and continues to top her training knowledge through Nikki and visits the Absolute Dogs headquarters in Devon regularly. Elaine's speciality is working with puppies.
Sam originally joined On The Ball in 2020 as a student with her now 2 year old Border Collie Buddy. Sam’s enthusiasm and passion for training as well as helping others led her to creating a blog reaching out to other Border Collie owners to help them to understand the breed. Sam is a qualified Pro Dog Trainer with Absolute Dogs and looks after all of the content and media for On The Ball. Sam's passion is to help people to understand their Border Collies to prevent common behaviour struggles.
Kate joined On The Ball in 2020 when the Virtual Training classes began and now runs her own weekly fitness class teaching dogs of all ages and breeds how to maintain their fitness to avoid injury whilst strengthening their relationship with their owners. Kate is currently studying to become a Vet at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science and is a popular member of the team with students. Kate has two Collies of her own, Pi and Indy and is also Pro Dog Trainer qualified with Absolute Dogs.
Lorna and her Border Collie Nora run two weekly classes for us at On The Ball. Both our tricks and our obedience and life skills classes. Lorna has been competing successfully with Nora for some time in heelwork to music and after joining On The Ball as a student Lorna was soon invited to teach. Lorna brings a wealth of knowledge to the team and often challenges members to a freestyle music routine.
Nikki is exactly what I needed. Why? Because not only is she a fantastic dog trainer, she’s a brilliant human coach too!! I’ve come to realise that training your dog is just as much about your development and learning as theirs, and Nikki can help you with both.

Virtual classes are really easy and simple - and I'm not very technically minded! But on top of that, they are so much fun. Nikki makes it a very relaxed atmosphere so you can ask questions, share experiences and problems with everyone and have a laugh too.
